"Be a bus driver", "let your WINGS out"—we have lots of phrases we use to encourage our kids and staff to embody our social and emotional lessons on a daily basis, and Mr. Wright is doing it all.

Strong relationship skills are must-haves in any social and emotional education. In order to teach our kids how to better value teamwork as well as their individual contributions in a group setting, we use this TEAM acronym.

WINGS Celebrates Kids' #1 Teachers: Parents

"If Children are to succeed in school and in life, parents have to be committed and engaged in supporting their children's education." Sounds like something said here in WINGS' halls, but this was pulled from a recent media conversation with U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.
