Last month, the Nonprofit Finance Fund and the Institute for Child Success selected a handful of high performing non-profits from South Carolina and North Carolina to participate in a regional discussion on social impact bonds and outcome measurements.

When the 7th grade students in Ms. Halbrooks’ class learned that their beloved teacher was battling stage 4 breast cancer, they wanted to do something to show their support for her.
Taneya is a 4th grader in the Dove’s Nest at James Simons Elementary School and in her third year with WINGS. She says that she wants to be a doctor when she grows up and her WINGSLeader, Ms. Amber, says that with Taneya’s caring nature towards others, she’s sure to make a great one!
