In the sea of information about what's new and innovative in education, the magazine Edutopia really stands out. We find it chock full of inspiration. So's the website run by parent organization the George Lucas Educational Foundation, enthusiastic supporters of social and emotional learning. Now Edutopia is reaching newsstands at Barnes & Noble and other bookstores for the first time, so look for it and spread the word.

A step forward

It's important to support Edutopia's place among the magazine racks for two reasons: it's a trial run for the mag and new ideas in education deserve a voice. Not only can you find Edutopia in the stores, the have a great presence on twitter, too. www.twitter.com/edutopia Show education and social and emotional learning some love.

Great

Edutopia is a great magazine. It is full of great information regarding social and emotional learning and social skills activities. Glad to see it is going to reach more people. This is a good sign for SEL advocates!
