What a boost WINGS got today from influential columnist Sean Stannard-Stockton!

“The best annual report I’ve seen from a nonprofit – serious info, easily digested,” declared his Twitter post, after Sean looked at "Laying the Groundwork for the Growth Years Ahead" - the WINGS Annual Report for 2008-09.

Since he’s seen his share, we’re justifiably proud. Sean Stannard-Stockton is widely read on Twitter, where he has 2,500 followers, and in his blog Tactical Philanthropy which he writes for the Chronicle of Philanthropy. A former columnist for the Financial Times, he is CEO of Tactical Philanthropy Advisors, an investment firm based in San Francisco.

Fabulous job; fabulous report!

Well deserved praise, I think, having seen a bit of WINGS' work and the amazing presentation in the annual report. Way to go, WINGS!

Movin' on Up

Who says social media is a fad and waste of time?  NOT WINGS!   The power to cultivate new fans and tell our story to hundreds, thousand, millions of people is an opportunity we jumped on. And, it's starting to pay off.  Not only did Sean Stannard-Stockton send some praise our way, many of his followers / subscribers (such as the Venture Philanthropy Partners) helped spread the word, too.  The best part yet - Sean started a conversation about WINGS. And, we're happy people are talking.

Way to go WINGS!

This is great news! WINGS is getting more and more national attention – the momentum is exciting to witness and to be a part of. Not only is it a great LOOKING annual report, the information is concise and full of forward-thinking plans.
