At WINGS we are all so proud of what Kimberly Bowman has accomplished since she arrived at WINGS as a shy little girl with crippling self-doubt. Now more than 20 colleges clamor to admit her! She soars with confidence. She's a terrific success story and proof positive that WINGS reaches its educational outcomes. See our CEO's letter in today's Charleston Post and Courier.

The Sky is the Limit

I remember when I worked with Kimberly when she was in WINGS. She has definitely grown and developed since elementary school. I feel proud to think that WINGS has had some effect on her growth. When I see a former WINGS child get older and do great things, I tell myself, “This child has become successful as an individual. The social skills activities and lesson taught at WINGS has definitely had a positive affect on this kids’ success. I am extremely proud of Kimberly. Continue to soar, Kim! The sky is the limit!

Waiting patiently

As Program Director at Memminger, I shared this article with my staff and expressed how I can not wait until one of our kids do something great so I can say "I remember when he/she was in WINGS...." I let them know that, although days may be tough, the outcome will greatly pay off. And just when they start to doubt themselves, there is always that one little boy or girl who will remember each of them as his/her WINGSLeader.

Soaring with SEL

I remember when Kimberly was in 4th grade. Her self-esteem has soared since then! She has truly developed in all areas of SEL and it is so nice to see her enjoying success. I can't wait to see what school she picks!
