Keep it up!
As the end of the school year approaches, kids may begin to run out of steam. Maintain
momentum by encouraging kids to "keep it up!"
Whether you're a child or a grown adult, perseverance is an extremely important skill to
have in your toolbox, and with it, one can overcome even the greatest of obstacles.
One of our 30 Learning Objectives states that Kids will apply perseverance in the face of
disappointment, creating resiliency, so at WINGS we dedicate a full week to harnessing
and sharpening this very skill. When things get tough, our WINGS kids are taught to
use their perseverance skills.
Here are four "Keep it up!" tips we teach to help get through difficult situations:
- Keep a positive attitude
- Keep trying
- Keep distractions away
- Keep away from negative people and negative things
