PACE: Parenting our Children to Excellence

WINGS has teamed up with the Medical University of South Carolina to host PACE: Parenting our Children to Excellence. PACE is a preventative intervention program designed to promote parenting effectiveness and child coping-competence. This program is extremely important because parents and caregivers play a critical role in fostering social, affective, and achievement competence in young children. The eight week program, designed for our WINGS parents, meets once a week for two hours to discuss critical parenting topics such as child development and behavioral management. During the meetings, we provide childcare and dinner for the participating parents and children. WINGS would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the restaurants who donated their delicious food for our weekly dinners.

The following restaurants and their food donations have greatly contributed to our goal of increasing parental engagement and excellence!

THANK YOU!!!
