How can I get involved?
WINGS Homework Helper
Time Commitment: 1-4 hours per week

Serve as WINGSLeader assistant for an Academic Center

Participate in Academic Center training and observation
-
Days and hours of service can be flexible, but consistent schedule is preferred

Report to assigned WINGS program at least once a week and assist with Academic Center
-
Report to same Academic Center each day, become a regular part of that Academic Center
Feedin’ the Flock
Time Commitment: 1-5 hours per week

Participate in Kids Café training and observation

Set up tables and seating in the cafeteria
-
Fix plates according to the Kids Café Minimum Serving Guidelines
-
Serve plates to the children
-
Tidy up the kitchen after meals
WINGSLeader Intern
Time Commitment: 8-12 hours per week

Serve as WINGSLeader Intern
-
Report to assigned WINGS program 2 to 3 days per week, 4 hours per day

Create schedule with WINGS contact that will work for you

Assist with any program-related tasks throughout the day

Possible to become official, paid Substitute WINGSLeader
Substitute WINGSLeader
Time Commitment: 23 hours per week maximum
-
Hired as Substitute WINGSLeader, a paid, part-time position
-
Work at programs as needed (filling in for other WINGSLeaders)
-
Work anywhere from 5-23 hours per week at $10 per hour

Possible to become official part-time AmeriCorps WINGSLeader
